Richard A. Cargile – President & CEO

Richard (Rick) Cargile has over 35 years of experience in the midstream sector.  His first 30 years with Phillips Petroleum Company’s midstream affiliate.  Prior to joining Durango Midstream, Mr. Cargile served as President of Midstream for Energy Transfer Partners. 

A Memphis, Tennessee native, Mr. Cargile earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Christian Brothers University. He received his Master of Business Administration from the Executive Program at the University of Houston and completed the Harvard University Advanced Management Program. He has served as a member of the advisory board of the Institute of Gas Technology in Chicago; President of the Natural Gas Society of the Permian Basin; board member of New Mexico Oil & Gas and Gas Processors Association (where he has testified on behalf of the industry to the Senate Energy Committee and to the President's Senior Advisor on environmental issues); and past board member of Southern Petroleum Laboratories (SPL) and Christian Brothers University. He presently serves on the board of White Water Midstream.

David Stone – Chief Operating Officer

David Stone has more than 25 years of experience in the midstream sector managing & leading midstream portfolios and assets, including group responsibilities for commercial, business development, operations and major projects.

Prior to joining Durango Mr. Stone served as the President of SEC Energy Products & Services, where he successfully improved throughput capabilities, product quality and increased earnings. Prior to SEC, Mr. Stone served in various commercial, operations and project roles for DCP Midstream, last serving as Vice President for the Permian Basin. A South Texas native, Mr. Stone earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Mr. Stone is an active member of GPA, GPSA and GMRC.

Darin B. Kennard – Vice President & General Manager

Darin Kennard has over 29 years of experience in the chemical, petrochemical, upstream and midstream oil and gas industries. Prior to joining Durango Midstream, Mr. Kennard was employed by EOG Resources where he was responsible for the corporate implementation of state and federal air quality programs. Prior to joining EOG, Mr. Kennard spent several years in the midstream sector with DCP Midstream, Targa Resources, and Crosstex Energy Services (EnLink Midstream).  Prior to entering the midstream sector, Mr. Kennard owned and operated EMI.  EMI was a full-service air quality consulting and emissions testing services company.  During Mr. Kennard’s years at EMI, he also developed and operated corporate aviation real estate located at Hooks Airport in Northwest Houston.   

Mr. Kennard began his career as a financial & regulatory analyst with Morris-Knudsen Corporation and brings a fresh producer perspective to Durango Midstream. A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mr. Kennard obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Louisiana State University. 

J. Michael Urban – Chief Financial Officer

Mike Urban has over 35 years of experience in the upstream and midstream oil and gas industries. Prior to joining Durango Midstream, Mr. Urban was a Co-founder and CFO of Tristream Energy, a privately held midstream gathering and processing company where he was responsible for all areas of accounting and finance.  Prior to Tristream, Mr. Urban served as CFO of Sago Energy, LLC, also a privately held midstream gathering and processing company.  Mr. Urban previously served as CFO of Fortune Natural Resources Corporation, a publicly traded exploration and production company and Vice President of Finance with Norcen Explorer, Inc., a Houston based exploration and production company.  Mr. Urban was also a director of Community Bank, a private commercial bank located in the Houston area, and he served as an audit manager with a “Big Five” public accounting firm.  

Mike’s career includes significant experience in capital formation and structuring; mergers and acquisitions; strategic planning and execution; and financial and SEC reporting.  Mr. Urban received his B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas.

Lynn Fitzgibbons – VP, Human Resources/Admin

Lynn has worked in Human Resources in the energy industry for over 30 years. Prior to joining Durango Midstream in September 2018, Lynn worked in various HR roles at Entergy, ONEOK, DCP Midstream and Phillips Petroleum. She has a BS degree (Psychology/Business-minor) and MS degree (Industrial Relations) from Iowa State University.

Brent Collins – VP Information Technology & Measurement

A native of West Texas, Brent Collins has 40 years of experience in the Midstream sector.   Prior to joining Durango Midstream Mr. Collins served as a Senior Director at DCP Midstream, responsible for IT/SCADA/Communications.   He also served in various roles throughout his career with DCP Midstream and Phillips Petroleum affiliates including Crude and NGL pipeline operations, Gas Measurement, Plant/Field operations, IT and Automation.
