Senior Business Analyst


This role supports the Revenue Accounting, Finance and Business Application teams, which requires familiarity with complex contracts and related system setups, as well as TIPS experience performing allocations, gas and natural gas liquids settlements, and analytical requests. Additional experience with Financial Planning and Analysis, and related software support is required. This position will also be a key participant in designing, testing and implementing TIPS operational, reporting and control changes. 


  • Analyze volumetric, contractual and financial results and explain variances to estimate, forecast and prior trends utilizing Peoplesoft and TIPS.
  • Verify Plant Accounting transactions, including monthly settlements, payables, and receivables within TIPS.
  • Prepare TIPS data inputs required to run allocations and settlements and upload results to PeopleSoft.
  • Implement Gas Processing Contracts, including TIPS setups.
  • Support efforts of TIPS setup of new wells, contracts or operational changes.
  • Key participant in monthly accruals Gas and NGL volumes and values.
  • Coordinate and manage processing of prior period adjustments.
  • Part of team working closely with Quorum and IT to design, test, and implement TIPS changes.
  • Communicate effectively with management and work closely with commercial and operations.
  • Responsible for timely response to internal and external inquiries.


  • BS degree required; Accounting, Finance, or Economics degree preferred
  • 5+ years experience in Oil and Gas Accounting, preferably Midstream experience.
    • Knowledge of accounting transactions related to gas gathering and processing systems.
  • Quorum TIPS experience and PeopleSoft knowledge preferred.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and meet deadlines.
